SAFE-PASSAGE

The “Safe-Passage” is the practical urgent action taken by ACCM to provide “rescue” response and support to individuals and groups that require such services when faced with adversity and violations with consequent risk to life: ACCM delivers social responsibility, community cohesion, early interventions, advancement of Freedoms, Rights, Democracy and Active Citizenry: Combats xenophobia, anti-Semitism, homophobia, Islamophobia, ageism, racism and misogyny.

COMMON-WEALTH: ACCM is linking-up and creating partnerships within the Commonwealth family of nations to harness space for the individuals or groups that require “safe-passage”.

LOCAL SUPPORT CELLS: ACCM operates “Safe-Passage” harnessing local networks of community support. This engenders grassroots and direct help being given where it matters. This project depends on the goodwill, political-will and grace of funders or donors to finance; support services, including administration, travel, food, accommodation and general welfare of the people we assist.

WHAT IS ACCM:

Agency for Culture & Change Management (ACCM) is a Registered Charity in UK.

WHAT WE DO:

ACCM is responding to COVID-19 supporting children with complex and special needs: Helping parents especially in BAME communities to cope with demands brought on by COVID-19.

ACCM delivers social responsibility, community cohesion, early interventions, advancement of Freedoms, Rights, Democracy and Active Citizenry: Combats xenophobia, anti-Semitism, homophobia, Islamophobia, ageism, racism and misogyny.

HOW WE WORK:

ACCM works towards cohesion, a think-tank and conflict resolution agency; working with individuals and small groups in community: The projects operated are usually centred around practical and research:

(a) Research work is centred on functions of a think-tank about rights, equality and freedoms.

(b) Practical work centres on the following although not exclusively:

  1. Children and parents; to ensure that all Children are Equal in a world of inequalities and exclusions; Supporting Children/Young people living with visible and invisible SEND: including Autism ASD, Chrohn’s, AFRID etc.
  2. Employment; creating opportunity for employment especially for the unskilled and those with skills or qualifications who are marginalised by employment market trends
  3. Early intervention to prevent criminality in Children and Young People: Creating capacity so that Children grow in an environment of community safety, general welfare, enjoyment, play and fun. Whilst young people are helped to access information to go through adolescence life and become active citizens with social responsibility
  4. Reaching the hardest to reach in community e.g. migrant individuals
  5. Think-Tank, promoting freedoms/rights/Democracy: Promoting association, friendship and positive action among the Jews, Muslims and Christians (People of the book). Improving the health and well-being of women and girls wherever they reside by promoting action to stop harmful traditional practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), early and forced marriages, which violate the human rights of women and girls and adversely affects their health and well-being.
